Positioned atop the small village, it offers a beautiful view of the surrounding rolling hills. Villa Alice has undergone recent and thoughtful renovations, ensuring its guests experience maximum comfort and modernity while preserving the typical architecture of its era.
Surrounded by a charming stone-paved garden arranged on terraces, Villa Alice overlooks the wonderful landscape of the Tuscan countryside. The meticulously maintained outdoor area is expertly arranged to ensure the privacy of guests. It features two pergolas—one furnished with a table and chairs for outdoor meals and the other serving as an outdoor living room with sofas and armchairs. A brick staircase leads to the swimming pool area (12m x 4m with a fixed depth of 1.30m and an area with hydromassage, open from May 1 to October 30, with salt water). This area is complete with a solarium equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, along with a gazebo furnished with outdoor furniture and seats. From the swimming pool and garden, guests can enjoy a spectacular scenery, rich in vineyards and hills running up to the beautiful city of Volterra. Villa Alice also boasts a barbecue, table tennis, bowling green, and a children’s play area.
Interior:
Villa Alice comfortably accommodates up to 11 guests in a space of about 400 square meters divided into two levels. Upon entering the main entrance, an atrium connects to the rooms on the ground floor. Here, you’ll find a built-in kitchen, well-equipped with direct access to the external pergola; a large dining room with a beautiful crystal table; a living room with a fireplace, sofas, armchairs, satellite TV, and direct access to the garden; a study; and a double bedroom (convertible into a single double bed) with a private bathroom with a shower.
The first floor, accessible via an internal stone and cast-iron staircase, features a corridor leading to the sleeping area. This area consists of 1 suite with a canopy bed, 1 double bedroom, and 2 double bedrooms (convertible into doubles). Two bathrooms complete the floor—one with a shower and the other with both a shower and a bathtub. In three of the rooms, there is the possibility to add a single bed. Villa Alice is equipped with free Wi-Fi connection, air conditioning, and heating (both on consumption). A highchair and cot are available upon request. Pets are allowed with an extra charge.
